For a start, this little guy wasn’t born in captivitiy he was abducted from the wild. Secondly, those little arms, on the elbows have venom glands which the Slow Loris then rubs on it’s teeth before biting its prey. But that would be dangerous for humans right? So the poachers that take them from the wild rip their teeth out. So now you have a terrified wild animal with destroyed gums and teeth, he is now starving and dying (they usually don’t live past the first year in captivity). So what do people do? Well they give him a tickle like the gif above to make him feel better right? Wrong. As I found out yesterday, the above stance by the Slow Loris is actually it’s defensive stance. He is basically terrified and the arms in the air is to help it get quicker access to its venom gland. So before all you PETA lovers, you “vegans” and cat lovers reblog this thinking it’s fun read what i’ve put. It’s disgusting and cruel and increasing in popularity because of stupid girls watching the video this gif is from and going “I want one”. I want a wolf but I know it looks better in the wild than in my room. The same goes for this poor little guy. I wholeheartedly agree with everything you said. However: why would you put a cat lover in the same demeaning level as a PETA lover and a “vegan,”, tho? I’m slightly offended! Good to know, I will pass this on.But maybe next time skip the “because of stupid girls watching the video” It just makes you look like an ass.
