Just in, I am bitter.
Sometimes I get really bitter about certain people going to art school.
People who don’t seem to have a great passion for art. Who think a couple hours is a lot of time spent. Who think drawing one eye in some detail makes for a finished ‘awesome’ drawing. I could rant on and on.
But the basic thing is it pains me to see people who don’t have that passion, get into art school. And act like it’s no big deal, because they have money to just throw around.
Sure, if I had money (student loans scare me, dealing with my credit card is enough at the moment) I would have loved to go to school. Preferably art school (ECUAD,NSCAD). And then if I was super rich, I would then become an embalmer. Go to Toronto school of Theology. Go to University of British Columbia to take Zoology and a other things. Medical courses. Psychology courses. Learn Arabic. Become an archeologist. I could rant on this too.
